It is user friendly, giving you the opportunity to upload photos and drag and drop images into place. You can also set up “Your Brand”, giving you the opportunity to upload your logo and color palate for easy access. There is a large bank of fonts, free stock images and icons available. There is also a Canva app for the phone!

To use Adobe Spark, you don’t necessarily have to have access to any of the other Adobe products (which have a cost). There are plenty of templates for social posts, invitations, flyers, video, and much, much more. There’s also a branding tab that will make templates based on your brand. If you’d like to create on the go, there are two different apps, Spark Post and Spark Video.

Pablo by Buffer (Social media)

Pablo has six different templates for social media posts. This is a good option if you’re keeping things simple and just looking to add text on top of an image (there are 600k+ free images). You can also upload a logo to use. There are several photo filters and you can format your image to suit different social media platforms.

Crello (Social media and print)

Crello is very similar in format to Canva, with a drag and drop formula. It has thousands of free images and vectors you can use, thousands of templates, 33 design formats and plenty of different fonts you can utilize for text. You may filter your photos and upload your own photos.

Snappa (Social media and web design)

Utilizing a drag and drop format as well, Snappa allows you to either use one of their pre-determined template sizes, or enter your own, custom graphic size. You may add graphics and shapes over images as well as text.

designbold (Social media and print)

In addition to social media, designbold allows you to design flyers, business cards, presentations and even resumes. You can edit your photos using preset filters or use editing tools to adjust brightness and contrast, etc. You can also upload your own images, backgrounds or even custom fonts.
